Church History
The original Chapel was call St. Mark’s Episcopal Chapel and was built in June, 1957 by William M Eaton of Fayettevile, NC. Its erection was the highlight of the 1957 session of Oceanside Episcopal Camp, when the First Celebration of the Holy Communion took place on June 30, 1957. The dream of this Chapel began in 1952 when the Rev. Edwin E. Kirton during his annual vacation held cottage Services in the homes of Ocean City residents.
